The streets of Perth turned vibrant this morning as thousands of participants gathered for the 12th annual HBF Run for a Reason. With a record-breaking 37,000 registrations, this year’s event became the largest in its history, uniting runners, walkers, and supporters in a shared mission to raise funds for important causes.

ProGenis Pharmaceuticals was proud to take part in this incredible event, running in support of the Australian Coeliac Association. As a company committed to advancing health and well-being, we recognise the importance of raising awareness and funding for coeliac disease research and support services.

With more than $1.2 million raised so far for over 280 charities, the event has once again demonstrated the power of community-driven initiatives. Since its inception in 2010, HBF Run for a Reason has contributed over $12.5 million to charities, making a significant impact on countless lives.

In addition to fundraising, sustainability was also a key focus of the event. More than a tonne of discarded jackets, jumpers, and coats from the start line were donated to Vinnies, ensuring that even small acts of kindness made a difference.

At ProGenis Pharmaceuticals, we believe in not only innovating within the pharmaceutical space but also supporting initiatives that improve public health. Running for the Australian Coeliac Association allowed us to contribute to a cause that aligns with our mission of improving lives through science and advocacy.
